Johnny Moss was the founding father of professional Poker. He won the first-ever World Series and went on to win it twice more throughout his illustrious career.
He won a total of 9 bracelets while playing, which at the time won him just under $1 million.
He is still the oldest player to win the World Series.
Moss was one of the first players inducted into the Poker hall of fame.

#5 – David Edward Reese

The trophy for the $50,000 H.O.R.S.E. event at the World Series of Poker is named after Chip Reese.
His most famous winning hand was Ace, Queen, Jack, seven, seven, four, and four in the 2006 H.O.R.S.E event.
After his sudden death in 2007, the CEO of the World Series at the time named Chip “the greatest cash game player who ever lived, but he was also a World Series of Poker legend”.

Enrights’ recorded winning of $0.5 million for a woman in the 90s is mindblowing. When she arrived on the scene, the world of Poker did not know what hit it.
Enright is still the only woman to have made it to the final table of the main event at the World Series. She has also won three bracelets at the World Series.
She was the first woman to be inducted into the Poker hall of fame.

In 1989, Phil Hellmuth became the youngest person to win the main event at the World Series.
Since then he has continued to have success at tournaments around the world. He currently holds 16 bracelets. His most recent win came in 2021.
He has made the final table 5 times on the World Tour.
